Colorful Finds May 2006

 

Wow, what stunning diving we had in May, great weather, beautiful islands and more importantly lots of critters, throw all those together with some great diving buddies and you have Vava’u.

Two colorful nudibranchs caught our eyes this month, the Gold Spotted Halgerda and a yet to clarify Thecacera species (see photos below). Both on two different dive sites in one day.

Also in May, our resident Leopard Sharks, Porcelain Crabs on Anemones, Crinoid Shrimps and Squat Lobsters, Banded Sea Snakes as well as the array of Pacific Reef Fish.
Stunning Hard and soft corals, always make for a beautiful dive.
